How often do the teams practice?
Fall training (November – December) practices are twice a week, and will focus around speed, agility, and strength training. There are optional sessions for players that wish to add-on infield, outfield, hitting, pitching, and catching.
Winter training (January – March) will consist of two weekday evening practices for individual batting practice, lifting, speed, agility and position specific defensive drills. Sunday practices will be used to focus on team defense, running plays, and base running scenarios.
Spring training will be determined as the season progresses, as we realize many of our players will also be playing school ball. Once school ball schedules are released, we will coordinate a practice schedule to minimize overlap and ensure our player’s arms and bodies are properly rested to ensure good physical and mental health.
Summer training will be three to four days a week, but this would be dependent on the game and tournament scheduled.
